What is Diphenhydramine?

Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine that is commonly used in both humans and pets. It is used in the treatment of many symptoms, including allergies and car sickness.

Directions:

Oral diphenhydramine is not FDA-approved for use in veterinary medicine; however, it is a commonly accepted practice to use this medication in dogs and cats. The slow release capsule should not be mixed or dissolved in food.
