1. Is Pet VM a licensed pharmacy?

YES. We are licensed in states of California, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinoios, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin & Wyoming. We can sell and ship most prescription drugs in states of California, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinoios, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin & Wyoming. 2. How can I order my pet’s Rx medications?

Ordering Rx medications is very simple through this website. Follow these steps to place your order:

a. Select the prescription medication(s) for your pet and add to cart

b. Proceed to checkout

c. If you do not have an account with us, you will be asked to create an account. An account is required when ordering any prescription medications

d. Provide your shipping and billing address

e. Provide your pet’s details

f. Provide your Veterinarian’s details (if possible, please provide your Veterinarian’s office fax number)

g. Select your shipping carrier

h. Enter payment details

i. Place order by clicking “Make Payment” button

As a licensed pharmacy, we can only dispense prescription medications after receiving an authorization from your pet's Veterinarian. After receiving your order, we will fax a prescription with your order details to your Veterinarian’s office for approval.

Sometimes, approval is not immediately received from Veterinarian’s office. We will continue following up on the authorization request with your Veterinarian as promptly as possible.

Upon receiving authorization, your order will be filled and shipped to the shipping address entered with the order. We have listed order processing time in our Shipping Policy for your convenience. Processing Time starts after the authorization has been received. Please note that processing time for prescription medications is not measured from the time order is placed, it is measured from the time we receive authorization for all prescription medications in your order.

We will inform you promptly if prescription authorization request is denied by your Veterinarian office.

Any non-prescription medication does not require a Veterinarian authorization. However if your order contains both prescription and non-prescription medications, then your order will not be processed until Rx authorization for all prescription medications has been secured.

 

3. What is the fastest way to order my pet’s medications?

The fastest way to order your pet’s medications is by using the website. You can also call us at 1-844-363-5995 to place an order. If you do not get connected with our staff immediately, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Find the products you seek by browsing our website and/or using our website search. Add products to cart and checkout. At checkout, fill the required pet and Veterinarian information and we will take care of the rest.

 

4. Will I need to provide my pet's medical information?

We are required by law to know your pet's medical conditions, weight, breed, and age as it is necessary to ensure safety in dispensing prescription medications for your pet. For some over-the-counter (non-prescription) items we might need to know your pet's weight and type to make sure your pet receives the right product. The more we know about your pet, the better we can assist you in meeting your pet's needs, so we encourage you to provide us with all of your pet's medical information.

 

5. Are your products the same as my Veterinarian's office?

Yes, they are the same exact products, but at more affordable prices. All our products sold through the pharmacy are U.S. FDA/EPA approved. We only carry products that are intended for sale in USA.

 

6. How fast will I receive my order?

We recommend selecting any of the premium shipping options for faster delivery. There are many variables that may alter the delivery time of a shipment and that is why we recommend premium shipping options. We also recommend informing your Veterinarian to authorize your prescription as fast as possible for quicker processing.

 

7. How quickly will my order ship from your facility?

For your convenience we have listed the processing time in Shipping Policy to help you estimate when you can expect your order to ship from our facility. Processing time for orders with only over-the-counter (OTC) products starts from when the order is placed.

Rx orders require an authorization from your Veterinarian. We will process your Rx order after the authorization is received. Orders with both Rx and OTC items will begin processing after an authorization from your Veterinarian is received.

 

8. What if I have an open script with another pharmacy?

You can have your pharmacy call our pharmacist to transfer your script.

 

9. What if I need to cancel my order?

In the rare event you would like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as you can at 1 (844) 363 5995. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. Please note that shipped orders cannot be cancelled.

 

10. How should I store medications?

Most medications should be stored at room temperature unless listed otherwise. All medications that are shipped cold must be refrigerated unless listed otherwise.

 

11. What is the expiration window for products you sell?

You can purchase our products with complete confidence. We take special care at the time of fulfillment to ensure the products you receive have sufficient time before reaching their date of expiration. Expiration dates vary for each product. Very few products do not have an expiration date specified by the manufacturer. Expiration date is clearly mentioned on the products that we ship.

 

12. Can I fax/email over my prescription?

No. We do not accept prescriptions sent by you over fax or email. We only accept prescriptions faxed from your Veterinarian’s office. We do not accept prescriptions emailed by your Veterinarian’s office either. Our preferred method for processing prescriptions is to seek authorization from your Veterinarian’s office after you have placed the order.

 

13. Can I send my original written prescription through mail?

For your safety and security, we prefer receiving prescription/authorization directly from your Veterinarian’s office. While we do not prefer receiving prescriptions through mail, in some exceptional circumstances we may accept original hard-copy of your prescription sent to us by mail.

If you have written Rx scripts that you would like us to fulfill, please contact us at 1 (844) 363 5995 to check if we can accept a mailed copy of your original prescription. If we are able to determine your circumstances as exceptional, we will accept a mailed original prescription. Please mail the original hard-copy of your prescription to our address:

14. How can I order refills?

We store refill information on file for all orders you place. For ordering refills, you can call us at 1 (844) 363 5995. You can also place your refill order online and while placing the order you can add refill related comments in "Special Instructions" section in your cart. If you forget adding refill comments, you can also call us to notify the medications you want to refill.

15. How should I dispose unused or expired medications?

Please take precautions with medications use at all times and keep medications away from the reach of children.

16. Do you price match?

Our effort is (and always will be) to provide you best quality products at affordable prices with lower shipping costs. In rare cases, if you find a lower cost medication at any other licensed pharmacy located in USA, we will offer price match. Requirements for price matching:

a. Price match can only be done for products sold by an online licensed pharmacy in USA (we will not price match with an unlicensed or a brick & mortar pharmacy)

b. The product must be in stock on the other pharmacy's website
