Clindamycin is a semisynthetic antibiotic used for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms in the specific conditions listed below:
Dogs: Skin infections (wounds and abscesses), Deep wounds and abscesses, Dental infections and Osteomyelitis

Clindamycin Hydrochloride Oral Drops is contraindicated in animals with a history of hypersensitivity to preparations containing clindamycin or lincomycin. Because of potential adverse gastrointestinal effects, do not administer to rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, horses, chinchillas or ruminating animals. Keep out of reach of children. Not for human use. Antibiotics can cause diarrhea. If the diarrhea is watery or has blood in it, call your veterinarian.

Give the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the dose you missed and give the next regularly scheduled dose. Do not give a double dose unless otherwise directed by your veterinarian.
If any of the following serious side effects occur, stop giving clindamycin and seek emergency veterinary care: an allergic reaction (hives; difficulty breathing; or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat). Stop the medication and talk to your veterinarian if any of these side effects occur: diarrhea that is watery or bloody; fever; chills; body aches; nausea; stomach pain; loss of appetite; dark urine; jaundice; urinating less than usual or not at all; fever; headache; or blistering, or peeling of the skin.
Store at controlled room temperature between 20° to 25° C (68° to 77° F). Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
Give this medication as prescribed by your veterinarian. Allow plenty of water for your pet to drink.
